Crystal Colors and Healing

Crystal color healing is an ancient practice in which gemstones are used for physical, emotional and spiritual healing, usually by placing them on the body's energy centers, or chakras. Each chakra has a color and energy associated with it, and crystals or gemstones of the corresponding color are placed to cleanse and enhance the free flow of energy of that center. Crystals can also be worn, placed in bath water and used to infuse water that is then drunk. Crystal healers believe that gems radiate a vibrational frequency that realigns a person's energies with cosmic or Earth energies.

Violet

• The color of the crown chakra, just above the top of the head, violet reconnects you with your spiritual and creative source. It brings inspiration and imagination. Some violet gemstones are amethyst, fluorite and sugilite. They enhance meditation and your connection to your higher self.

Indigo

• The color of the third-eye chakra, between the brows, indigo has an introverted energy that connects the spiritual self with the embodied self. It enhances deep insight, intuition and understanding. Some indigo gemstones are azurite and lolite. They provide access to the unconscious, cosmic knowledge and clairvoyance.

Blue

• The color of the throat chakra, blue, is the color of sincere communication. A balanced throat chakra supports self-expression and finding your voice. Blue is a cool color that gives perspective, and it is soothing and peaceful. Some blue gemstones are lapis lazuli, turquoise, aquamarine, sapphire and blue topaz. They have a calming effect and promote good sleep and relaxation.

Green

• The color of the heart chakra, green, is the color of nature. It is the color of healing, well-being and harmony. It is also the color of transformation, symbolized by the cycle of the seasons. Some green gemstones are emerald, malachite, moss agate, jade, peridot and green tourmaline. They encourage growth, fertility and change, as well as compassion and forgiveness.

Yellow

• The color of the solar plexus chakra, yellow, is the color of the mental and creative energy. It is also the color of joy, clarity and awareness. Some yellow gemstones are citrine, amber and lemon quartz. They support the chakra's energy of will and personal power with clear decision-making, concentration and memory.

Orange

• The color of the sacral chakra, in the lower abdomen, orange is the color of vitality and curiosity. It is associated with playfulness and the willingness to take on life's challenges. Some orange gemstones are carnelian, orange calcite and tangerine quartz. They enhance self-esteem and the strength to embrace the new.

Red

• The color of the root chakra, at the base of the spine, red is the color of blood and fire, of vitality and survival. It is also the color of lust and passion. Some red gemstones are red coral, bloodstone, garnet, red calcite, red jasper and ruby. They increase enthusiasm for life, promote courage and decrease fears.

Crystals supply energy

Crystals have no ill side effects.  They give the cells what is needed for repairing and maintaining health.

When the mind is linked to crystals, they serve as an amplifier to increase the healing process. Through the use of the language of symbols, used in the visualizing process, the mind can be guided to the areas of imbalance and directed to balance the energy of that area. By using the visualization process, the mind can work on several problems simultaneously with fast results.

Crystal energy can be used to precharge an area before surgery to reduce the trauma to the cells, and it can be used after surgery to replace the energy loss caused by that trauma.

Drugs and surgery operate through the physical body. Crystals amplify and access all levels of mind, emotion, spirit and body. The thoughts and emotions human beings generate or absorb from others create their physical condition. For healing to last, all levels need to balance and stabilize. If possible, the program or cause which created the physical imbalance or disease to occur must be accessed or changed.

Crystals can move the mind into the suggestible area where it can be programmed to create physical changes. Holding a quartz crystal on the body causes a greater amount of alpha brain waves to be generated. Using the power of your imagination to go inside a crystal, your mind begins to operate in the alpha brain wave frequency. Alpha is the mind/brain level where suggestibility to the subconscious mind computer begins. It is at this level that old casual programs can be accessed and reprogrammed. Reprogramming can eliminate the cause of an illness and through proper suggestions, accelerate the healing process.

Programming crystals

Crystals can receive and hold thought forms. When this is done consciously, it is called programming. The term 'programming' is used because this process is similar to computer programming. Information or commands are stored in the molecular structure of quartz crystal as magnetic charged data. thoughts are energy and they are magnetic in form. All data in crystals is stored as thought forms. Thought forms are pictures and/or other sensory data, powered or intensified by emotions.

The brow (between both the eyes) method is an effective way of programming a crystal. First, determine the purpose of the program. Then think of the end result you would have if the program worked. place the crystal against your brow. The direction the crystal is pointing doesn't matter. Close your eyes and go inside your crystal. Picture the end result happening inside your crystal. Create it with as many of your senses as you can. See it, smell it, hear it, taste it, touch it, make it real. When it feels real, come out of your crystal and open your eyes.

Some examples of programming:
If you want a healing crystal, see someone  picking it up. Watch frowns leave the person's face, replaced by happy grins. See the person dancing, running, leaping, full of good health and happiness.

If the crystal is for a person with a specific problem, see the person functioning and happy without the problem.

If it is to be used for meditation, fill it with your special prayer or mantra. Call in all the masters, teachers, healers, angels and archangels you want ( even Gods you worship). Invoke the light and the rays of the light. Infuse the crystal with the feeling you have when you reach the place of Silence, when your senses disappear and you experience true peace within.

Perhaps you simply want to program the crystal with love. Think of all the people and things you love. Create the unconditional love feeling you have when you hold a small baby, a cuddly puppy or a kitten. Fill the crystal with a soft, soothing pink color.

Remember the rules for programming. First, determine what you want. Second, picture the end result. Third, hold the crystal against the brow chakra. Fourth, go inside the crystal and picture the end result with great intensity.

Reprogramming can often increase the working ability of the crystal. Repeat all the steps with great intensity and feeling, as often as you want.
