Setting up a Reiki Crystal Grid

It is possible to create a grid or pattern using eight crystals and charge them with Reiki energy so that they will continuously send Reiki to your self or to anyone whose picture or name you place on the grid. This advanced technique is more effective than the use of a single crystal and can be used to send Reiki to many people and situations at the same time.
The beginning steps are similar to those necessary for using a single crystal.  First, choose your eight crystals while asking for guidance in finding those which would work best in your Reiki grid.  You will need six crystals for the outside part of the grid, one for the center and one to use as a Master Crystal.  The center crystal can be a single or double terminated crystal, a crystal pyramid, a crystal ball, or a crystal cluster.  The Master Crystal needs to be a longer crystal like a laser or one with more of a yang or male type energy. (scepters work well too). It is also possible to use other kinds of crystals besides quartz or other stones.  Always check with your pendulum or other method to be sure that any crystals or stones that you choose will work and that they are willing to be used in the Reiki Grid.  Be sure to Cleanse them if they need it.
Arrange the six outer crystals in a hexagram approximately eight to twelve inches across with the points pointing toward the center.  Place the central crystal in the middle with the point going between two of the outer crystals.  The Master Crystal is placed outside the grid, off to the side.
Take a picture of yourself and place it in the middle under the central crystal.  On the back of the picture, write out positive open ended affirmation such as: "The love and wisdom of God guides and empowers me to fulfill my purpose" or "I am completely healed by God's love and wisdom now."  Or you could create your own positive affirmation.
It is a good idea to place your grid on a piece of stiff cardboard so that you can move it around if needed.  Keep your grid in a private sacred place.
You will need to charge your Reiki grid each day to keep it empowered. To do this take the Mater Crystal and hold it between your hands.  Draw the Distant Symbols over it and any other symbols you are guided to use, such as the Power Symbol or the Master Symbol.  Do Reiki on the Master Crystal for five to ten minutes to charge it with Reiki.  As you do this you can pray to your guides or angels or other spiritual beings to work with you and to charge the Master Crystal with love and deep healing.
Once the Master Crystal is charged, go to your Reiki grid and use the Master crystal to draw the distant symbol over the Reiki grid.  Now point the Master Crystal at the central crystal and begin moving it to one of the outer crystals.  Then move it over to the crystal next to it.  Move it back to the central crystal again, then back out to the same outer crystal.  Then move over one more crystal, then in and out and continue directing the energy of the master crystal in and out and around and around.  As you do this, you will be moving in and out, then over one crystal, then in and out, then over one crystal, then in and out, then over, etc. as thought you are cutting out pieces of a pie. You will be moving around the Reiki grid as you do this.  Move in a counter clockwise direction around the grid. Go around the grid at least eight to ten times.  As you charge your Reiki grid with your Master Crystal say a continuous series of affirmations such as: "I charge this grid with Light, light, light, to heal, heal, heal".  You can also add: "I connect this Reiki grid with my highest Spiritual Guides to heal heal heal".  Of course you can use your own positive affirmation as well. Once the grid is charged, anyone whose name or picture that you place in the grid will continuously receive distant Reiki.  You can place your goals or other situations on a piece of paper and they will be blessed with Reiki as well.
If you go away and still want to keep your grid charged, take a photograph of your grid.  Take the photo with you when you travel along with the Master Crystal.  Then using the Distant Symbol, connect with your grid through the picture and charge it using the Master Crystal. This will keep your grid charged and the picture itself will have an energy around it and be very healing and protective for you to carry with you during your travels. Remember, as we continue to follow our guidance, not just for healing individual issues, but for the healing and guidance of our lives, we become more a part of the great transformation that is taking place on the planet.

Dr. Oz Recommends Reiki

For those of you who may not be familiar with Dr. Mehmet Oz, let me give you a little background.  He is a renowned cardiovascular surgeon who gained fame through his frequent appearances on the Oprah Winfrey Show, Larry King Live, CNN, the Discovery Channel, and other television shows and networks. He is also the co-author of several books and now has his own daily television program, The Doctor Oz show, with over 3 million viewers.

On January 6, 2010, Dr. Oz hosted a show which featured alternative medicine therapies.  "I've worked and trained with some of the finest medical schools and hospitals in the country and I know firsthand the amazing miracles we can achieve with modern western medicine," said Dr. Oz.  "But I also know that for centuries people around the world have developed alternative therapies to treat the body, mind and soul."  "Today I am revealing the alternative medicine secrets you need to know, and my favorite treatment that could change the future of medicine forever."

As Dr. Oz introduced the Reiki portion of the show, he said, "The next one I am going to talk about is one of my favorites.  We've been using it in the Oz family for years, and we swear by it."

Featured on the show was Reiki master and author Pamela Miles.  Dr. Oz said, "Pamela has actually been to the operating room with me where we have done Reiki.  My wife, Lisa, is a Reiki Master, so when the kids get sick or I am out of sorts...she uses Reiki.  I actually feel the heat."  Pamela demonstrated Reiki on an audience volunteer who had a headache.    Ms. Miles explained that, "Reiki is a balancing practice...it influences the person's overall system toward balance.  And then as her system becomes more balanced, symptoms tend to fall away."  When Dr. Oz asked the volunteer if she felt anything, she said, "Yes.  My headache is going away."

At the end of each show, Dr. Oz always features three things that he asks everyone to remember from that day's show...he calls them "Doctor's Orders".  The first "Doctor's Order" from that day's show was:  "Try Reiki!  This alternative medicine treatment can manipulate your energy and cure what ails you!""

Reiki Wish Slip procedure to fulfill wishes

I always insist that Reiki level 1 channels should avoid doing any other healing except their full body self healing and chakra healing, and should go for healing others, or for wishes and desires after completing their 2nd level Reiki. But then it does not mean they can't do it if it's needed. Here is the procedure:

1. Take a paper and write your name on it. Then write your wish on it as an affirmation. Affirmation is writing or saying something in such a way that it has already accomplished. Example, If you want to pass your exams with good grades, the affirmation is, I have passed my exams with good grades. Similarly, if you wish to get a good job, the affirmation is, I have got a good job. Please note, Reiki is a healing energy and it works on affirmations with positive words only. Do not use any negative words. An affirmation should be short and simple. ( If you need help in creating affirmation for your wish, you can email me.)

2. Fold the paper twice. If you can, staple your passport size picture on the folded paper (optional).

3. Invoke Reiki. Say, Reiki flow and charge my hands to fulfill my wish. Say it thrice.

4. Keep the slip on your palm, and cover it with the other palm, with both palms in cupped position. Reiki level 2 channels may make the symbols here (on the slip). Reiki will start flowing. You may feel some sensation or warmth in the palms.

5. Give Reiki for 3-5 minutes. Chanting the wish mentally or verbally is a good idea to increase the energy.

6. Stabilize Reiki by saying stabilize 3 times.

7. Keep the paper slip at a safe place (like, in a book, or a box) You may repeat the procedure as many times you can or want. More the healing, faster the results. Do at least once a day.

Another way is to paste the wish on a wall, soft board or cupboard, and energize it with both palms facing towards it while you chant the wish, if you do.

8. After the wish is fulfilled, take out the picture and burn the slip. Put the ash in the roots of a tree or plant. Please do not tear it off or flush it.

Tip: You may invoke Reiki to fulfill your wish before you go to sleep. Then keep a wish slip on your palm and wear a hairband over it (elastic ones that women use), and let your wish receive Reiki energy all the time you are sleeping at the night.

Becoming a Reiki Channel

The Concept of Reiki Channel

To use Reiki, you have to become a Reiki channel first. Channel indicates a person through whom Reiki flows smoothly for his own benefit as well as for the benefit of others. In Reiki treatment, the blockages in the energy flow system of the body are cleared and allows Reiki to flow smoothly through the system. Once the body achieves this state of health, it can become a channel. Reiki flows smoothly with great force to heal yourself and others.

How to become a Reiki Channel?

To become a Reiki channel, you need a Reiki Master. The channels are already inside us in the form of our mental and emotional energy and the power to concentrate. The only thing we need is activation and cleansing which is done by a master. He switches on our internal motor.

The process of activating a Reiki channel is called initiation or attunement in the language of Reiki. The person who is to become a channel meditates while the Master does the initiation procedure. It takes around 20-40 minutes.

You can also become a Reiki channel through self initiation, but for this you need cleansing at all levels of body, mind and soul. You have to completely kill your ego and become aware of your spiritual self.

Reiki founder Dr. Mikao Usui did not need a Reiki master for initiation or experiencing Reiki. He received Reiki when his ego died and he became completely empty of all mental identifications. This created space for him to receive Reiki.

The easier way for getting initiated is through a Reiki Master, and you may then continue on your journey to self improvement and spirituality, without actually compromising with materialistic pleasures of life.

Reiki Treatment: Where and how long?

People often ask me about the minimum and maximum time that Reiki should be given. Since Reiki comes from God source, and to heal, it can never cause harm. You can never give too little or too much Reiki. If all you have is a few minutes to give Reiki, go ahead. Reiki will always help.

Reiki will not only treat the area where your hands are placed, but will often travel to other areas of body where healing is needed. Specially the third eye chakra and solar plexus chakra are able to diversify Reiki to many other points in the body.

Intuition can play an important role when treating specific diseases. First, try placing hands on area of concern. If you feel a lot of Reiki flowing, then stay there. If Reiki does not flow well, ask the person receiving Reiki how they feel. If neither of you feel Reiki is treating the area of concern, then ask your intuition to show you the best  place to treat the condition. Move your hands to where you are directed. If you feel more Reiki flowing there and the healee reports the symptoms subsiding, then you know you were correctly guided.

Time duration is usually until Reiki keeps flowing. Most healers would heal till Reiki flow goes on. Many conditions are cured if the entire time healing is kept on, may take few minutes to few hours. Others may heal for a specific time as a healing session, and the healee can revisit for regular sessions, until he is cured.

Full Body Reiki Healing procedure

A lot of readers have been mailing me for this. So here is easy step by step Reiki full body 75 minute self healing session for you.

The procedure:
A.Sit comfortably. Say, I invoke all Reiki masters and gurus,all gods and goddesses and all angel guides to bless me,help me and guide me.
B.Rub your hands a few times to sensitize them.say, reiki flow and charge my hands to heal myself. Your palms will get some sensation or warmth.
C. Place your hands on the points below, starting from eyes, the number 1 point.

1. Eyes [After this point is done, move one hand to one ear, and THEN the other hand to the other ear. Do not abruptly move both hands together so that the flow of gentle energy is maintained. Same goes for all points.] Count 1001 to 1180 slowly (makes 3 minutes assuming 1 count takes one second). Do the same counting on every point you are healing.
2. Ears
3. Jaws
4. Temples
5. Back of the head
6. Forehead and back head
7.Throat and neck
8. Thymus and heart chakra
9. Solar plexus and naval (being healed in above picture)
10. Sacral chakra and root chakra

Reiki procedure to heal your house

Checking the house for negative energies

Do u feel restless and uneasy at some places in the house? You can't sit there for long.and there are some areas in the house where u always feel comfortable. This is how u feel energies in the house, positive and negative.

There is a simple check u can do:

Take some fresh fruits and keep them at the corners of the rooms. Any fresh fruit will do, apple or banana,or oranges. Negative energies gather at the corners of the rooms,and the wall joints. The fruits in negative areas will dry up or get fungus sooner than the others. This will show u the negative areas of the house. Don't be surprised if the fruits in your favourite comfortable places have lasted longer.

This procedure can also be done by placing plants, which is not suggested, as some plants will be killed for no reason and will dry up absorbing the negativity.

Cleansing the living place

One of the simplest methods to cleanse and heal the living place, that is a part of 2nd degree reiki class :

2nd degree channels may use it. I insist 1st degree channels to not to heal other people or places and concentrate on self healing only.

1. To be ready, make the power symbol, then the balancing symbol, and again power symbol on own self (full body/aura) for protection.

2. Invoke all reiki masters, gods, goddesses or whoever ascended masters of guides u believe in to bless you and help you in house cleansing.

3. Invoke reiki to flow and charge your hands to purify, heal and protect your house/room (that you intend to heal at that time).

4. Go to first room of the house.from inside, make the power symbol on whichever corner that is left to you. Purify the corner by moving hand anticlockwise few times, and throw the negativity to the divine to be purified.then move to next corner on the left and so on.then from the first corner that u purified, make power symbol to heal and charge, and move hand clockwise few times.then turn to next right corner and so on.again, on the first corner, make power symbol again with intention to protect.move right again on every corner till you reach the first one.

5. In the end,make a big power symbol in the air in the centre of the room, intending to protect the whole room.

The room is now cleansed. You can go to the next room.

This is very easy and it works.the balancing/mind-emotions symbol is not needed on non living things, though it can be used, and it will balance the atmosphere of the place.

You can either do this procedure on all rooms once a week, or you can do one room per day, or any way u like.

You can later check the results by the fresh fruit method told above.

There are lots of other ways too, using visualizations, and the crystal methods etc., I'll share them too. This is simple, and doesn't need visualizations and complicated techniques, and works as good.

Try it.

How to use Antahkarana Symbol

The antahkarana is a special symbol that has its own consciousness. It works directly with your aura and chakras and varies its healing effect depending on what you need at the time of use. Since it is directed by the higher self,it always has a beneficial effect and can never be misused or used to cause harm. The symbols can be placed under a massage table,or under the bottom of a chair,under under the mattress of your bed. They can also be placed on the wall or they can be held against your body with the print facing the area needing healing.

However,regular use is best,setting aside 10-30 minutes each day for meditation on the antahkarana. The value you receive will develop along with your mental clarity and a sense of peace and security that will stay with you throughout the day.

Reiki procedure to heal chakras

A lot of people who have done Reiki 1st and 2nd levels,and who are not practicing it and many are not even informed about the procedure. If you don't practice Reiki on own self, you are wasting the wonderful ability of healing your body,mind,emotions and life. So here is easy step by step chakra healing and balancing 12-20 minute self session for you.

The procedure:

Keep hands for 3 minutes. A count of 300 done slowly will give healing for 5 minutes(you can count starting from 1001 to 1300),and a count of 180 will give healing for 3 minutes.
4.Without moving left hand,move your right hand to sacral chakra below naval, and then move left hand to 3rd eye chakra on forehead. Do the 300 or 180 count.
5.Without moving left hand,move your right hand to solar plexus chakra above naval, and then move the left hand to throat chakra on the neck. Count 300 or 180.
6.Without moving left hand,move your right hand to heart chakra in middle of chest,and then move the left hand to the heart chakra too. Do the 300 or 180 count.

The healing ends here.
7.Say,i stabilize reiki at my heart chakra. Then affirm,all my energy centres are now healed and balanced.i am healthy,happy and peaceful,and my life is balanced.
8.Thank your reiki master and guru,gods and goddesses and angel guides, thank reiki and yourself.
9.Close the fists and say i stop the reiki flow from my palms.
You are done for the day in only 12 or 20 minutes.do it daily.

How Reiki works

We are alive because life force is flowing through us. Life force flows within the physical body though pathways called chakras, meridians and nadis. It also flows around us in a field of energy called the aura. Life force nourishes the organs and cells of the body, supporting them in their vital functions. When this flow of life force is disrupted, it causes diminished function in one or more of the organs and tissues of the physical body.

The life force is responsive to thoughts and feelings. It becomes disrupted when we accept, either consciously or unconsciously, negative thoughts or feelings about ourselves. These negative thoughts and feelings attach themselves to the energy field and cause a disruption in the flow of life force. This diminishes the vital function of the organs and cells of the physical body.

Reiki heals by flowing through the affected parts of the energy field and charging them with positive energy. Understanding Reiki

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. Dr. Mikao Usui,a buddhist monk,in the city of Kyoto,Japan,begane a twenty eight year research to rediscover how Lord Buddha used to heal.Before Jesus Christ,Buddha had posessed the gift of healing through divine love and human touch.The traditional reiki story begins with Dr.Usui,but reiki was definately ancient.

The word Reiki comes from two japanese words-Rei and Ki.Rei is the upper japanese kanji character and Ki is the lower.

Rei-Spiritual wisdom

Research into the estoric meaning for the japanese kanji character Rei has given a much deeper understanding of this ideogram.The word Rei as it is used in Reiki is more accurately interpreted to mean supernatural knowledge or spiritual consciousness.This is the wisdom that comes from God or higher self.This is the God-consciousness which is all knowing.It understands each person completely.It knows the cause of all physical,mental and emotional problems and sufferings,and knows what to do to heal them.

Ki-The life force

Ki means the same as chi in chinese,prana in sanskrit and mana in hawaiian.It has also been called odicforce,orgone and bioplasma.It has been given many other names by various cultures that have been aware of it.Ki is the life force.It is also called the vital life force,or the universal life force.This is the non-physical energy that animates all living things.As long as something is alive,it has life force circulating through it,and sorrounding it.When it dies,the life force departs.If your life force is low,or if there is a restriction in its flow,you will be more vulnerable to illness.When it is high and flowing freely,you are less likely to get sick.Life force plays an important role in everything we do.It animates the body,and is also the primary energy of our emotions,thoughts and spiritual life.

It is the God consciousness called Rei that guides the life force called Ki in the practice we call Reiki.Hence Reiki can be defined as spiritually guided force energy.This is meaningful interpretation of the word Reiki.It most closely describes the experience most people have of it.Reiki guides itself with its own wisdom.

The Antahkarana symbol

Antahkarana is a part of the spiritual anatomy. It is the connection between the physical brain and the higher self. It is this connection that must heal and develop if we are to grow spiritually. The Antahkarana symbol here depicted and described represents this connection and activates it whenever you are in its presence.

The Antahkarana is an ancient healing and meditation symbol that has been used in Tibet and China for thousands of years. It is a powerful symbol and simply by having it in your presence it will create a positive effect on the chakras and aura. When doing healing work, it focuses and deepens the actions of the healing energies involved. When meditating on the symbol, it automatically creates what the taosists call the great microcosmic orbit where in the psychic energies that would normally enter the crown chakra enter the feet and travel up the back of the body to the top of the head and then down the front to the feet again, thus grounding the person to the earth and creating a continuous flow of energy through the chakras. This symbol is multidimensional. From one perspective,it appears to be two dimensional, being made up of three sevens on a flat surface. The three sevens represent the seven chakras, the seven colours and the seven tones of the musical scale. These three sevens are mentioned in the book of revelations as the seven candle sticks,the seven trumpets and the seven seals. From another perspective,this symbols appears as a three-dimensional cube. Its energy moves up from two to three dimensions that can be seen and also continues up through unseen dimensions all the way to the highest dimension. The dimension of the higher self.

Historically, the use of this symbol can be traced back through a number of reiki masters to an ancient tibetan meditation technique. The few tibetan meditation masters who knew of the symbol tended to keep it to themselves so that the increased value it created for their work would add to their status. For this reason, its use has not been widely known.

The tibetan meditation practice that used the antahkarana took place in a room lit with candles. In the middle of the room there was a large earthenware vessel shaped in an oval which symbolized the cosmic egg of the universe. The vessel was filled with several inches of water and in the middle was a stool. On the seat of the stool, inlaid in silver, was the antahkarana symbol. One wall was covered with copper, polished to mirror finish. Tapestries were hung on the opposite wall which displayed reiki symbols. A tibetan lama meditator would sit on the stool and gaze steadily at the image of the reiki symbol reflected in the polished copper mirror. This yantra meditation would create one pointedness in the mind of the meditator, uniting the consciousness with the transcendental energies of the reiki symbol while the antahkarana symbol on the stool would focus the energies generated and cause them to evenly flow through all the chakras and to connect with the earth.

It is clear that the tibetans did not originate the symbol. And there is no written record as to its true origin. However, through clairvoyant perception, Michelle Griffith, a talented clairvoyant healer has been able to tune into the symbol and read its psychic history. According to Michelle,the symbol was first given to the people of earth during lemurian times over 100,000 years ago.(i'm not sure,it may be 10,000 years too). This was the same time reiki was first brought to the earth by the holy spirit. The antahkarana was created by a counsel of ascended masters who are watching over the evolution of the galaxy. They saw that the people of the earth were in trouble and needed help in re-establishing their connection with the higher self. They created the symbol and using a decree, embedded it with its own consciousness. Now,anyone who uses it will have the connection with the physical brain and the higher self strengthened. It is the higher self that creates and guides the benefits of the symbol and that is why it can never be used for harm.
